The Louisa Lounge has now been refurbished to a very high standard offering comfortable surrroundings and a welcoming atmosphere. A great place to spend time with family and friends.

THE VENUE 10TH ANNIVERSARY

We are very proud to announce that The Venue will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in October 2026.  Its hard to believe that time has passed so quickly and we still have an incredible facility in the community, one of the best in the area. This is down to the dedicated staff and volunteers who manage the building to support groups, organisations, support services and social events that continue to be a valued and well supported assett.

NEW GYM OPENING TIMES

The opening times for the Gym have been amended to the following:-

Mon - Fri  9am to 6.00pm
Sat - 9am to 11.30am

BEAN TO COFFEE (better value for money that some outlets we could mention)

The Venue is pleased to announce that we now have bean to cup, coffee available in several different variations.  At only £1.50 (8oz cup) it is great value for money and great tasting italian coffee.  Enjoy spending time with your friends and relatives in the Louisa Lounge.

Xmas Fayre Stall Holders

Tables for the Xmas Fayre on 14th November 2026, are almost sold out, so if you would like to book a spot, please get in touch as soon as possible as there are limited places left.


VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Here at The Venue we are always looking for volunteers to help us run this amazing building.  So if you have just retired or looking to fill some spare time why not consider joining our team of volunteers. We offer free tea/coffee/soft drinks, bus fare refund, arranged transport home when working an evening event,  Enhanced Rewards : free gym membership (including paying for the induction)*, social afternoon outings with a meal and drink * social day trip out with lunch money.  The Venue polo shirt* and special hire rates *
* these are dependent on attendance and a 3 month probationary period to qualify for the enhanced rewards.
